Dr. Edward Francis Ennedy

I grew up in San Diego, California where I found a love for nature. I have always been fascinated by nature, and particularly about the role that I play in it. After graduating high school at sixteen, I decided to pursue this curiosity in my studies. I attended the University of California San Diego, where I obtained a bachelor in Physiology & Neuroscience, with a minor in Psychology. As my knowledge about the body grew, I became more curious about the mind and spirit and developed an interest in Eastern philosophy, which led to my journey with meditation.

When I first learned about the philosophy and perspective of Osteopathic Medicine, I knew it was an instant match, and decided to become a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine. Osteopathic medicine encompasses a holistic approach, which acknowledges the whole human, and bridges the gap between the science and art of medicine. I attended medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California, where I discovered the manual therapy techniques of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). I was instantly captivated and knew that this was a skill that I wanted to further develop. I sought out electives and additional courses throughout my training to learn more advanced techniques. This included multiple courses with the Osteopathic Cranial Academy. After completing medical school, I relocated to Fort Worth, Texas for my post-doctoral training.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors, either hiking or at the beach when I am able to go. I also enjoy reading about new treatment developments in medicine & mental health, as well as quantum physics.
